Self Compacting Concrete Screed Austerfield Doncaster

This domestic extension in Doncaster required a structural screed.  Self-compacting concrete provides a level floor without worrying if the concrete has been compacted correctly.  It provides the perfect base for floor coverings.

The white liquid on the surface of the concrete is a curing agent, which ensures that no moisture is lost.  I think most of us have seen a dusty concrete garage floor; this is more than likely down to the loss of moisture.  Leaving the cement un-hydrated.
