Floor Screeding in Lincoln
Station Field, Skellingthorpe, Lincoln
Gelder Group Yorke Hurst project is a damp proof membrane and insulation with slip membrane. Additional screed for two floors using a fast-drying solution as required by the clients.
To stop moisture from passing from one to the other, the client preferred to supply the needed membranes as well as the insulation. Speed Screed team then laid the materials and screed to finish off the project.
The drying requirements to allow the floor covering to be laid was different, and so we were able to provide exactly the required drying time in each of the two areas as follows:
- Ground Floor Mapecem 704 Floor coverings after 14 days
- 1st Floor Keracem Eco Floor coverings after 5 days
Keracem Eco can be used in a variety of internal applications. Keracem Eco’s mechanical performances are superior to those of traditional sand and cement.
While preventing environmental pollution, using eco-friendly products is a good idea.
Karacem Eco has high dimensional stability and long-lasting performance, prolonged work-ability both manual and mechanical laying. Suitable for laying all floor coverings.
Karacem Eco can allow light traffic in 8 hours. Ceramics can be laid in the next day, while woods/resilient’s after 5 days.
Using The Right Product
Ensuring that the mix is correct is easy when using the Putzmeister M760 screed pump with skip and scraper.
Enhancing the surface properties and the durability of the floor screeds is done with the help of Adfil Fibrin 660F construction fibres.
Gelder Group is a well established and valued customer, and we look forward to working with them in the future.
